My boyfriend is taking me to Italy this summer and he's really familiar with it. He's been there many times. I want to suprise him and take him somewhere romantic and possibly by the beach..... where should I go??
We both agreed we're sick of the old buildings and history. We want to go to modern places and somewhere sunny.

Try Sorrento, across the bay from Naples. You only have to go see historical sites if you travel outside of the town itself.Lots of good restaurants, bars, shops, beaches.
